“Bernadette O'Grady is a singer songwriter from North Ireland, who now lives in West Wales. She began performing and writing songs, whilst living in New York, influenced at the time by both Irish and American artists. Her material ranges from contemporary storytelling songs to more reflective and soulful songs, performed with honest emotion. Bernadette gave a highly entertaining interview, and beautiful live performance, on The Evening Show (BBC Radio Wales). Her own song 'Dead Man's Shoes' and her delightful cover version of Bob Dylan's 'Don't Think Twice' have also received airplay on the show. Other live performances have included playing at Aberystwyth Arts Centre (The Acoustic Platform / RT Productions), Tenby Folk Festival, Cwmaman Music Festival, Northamptonshire's Kontra Roots Club, Oxjam Brecon, and London's premier acoustic night, 'On Stage at The Halo'. Recently, Bernadette gave an exquisite ninety-minute headline performance of her songs at Soundbites, Llanidloes.
