Orson Welles: F for Fake

I watched this week the film "F for Fake" by Orson Welles. It was quite compelling in certain parts, particularly in Welles' concept of what is "fake", who is an "expert" and what constitutes "art". If it had been edited better, I would consider it a masterpiece.
The film is so relevant to this time in Western music: does anyone listen to music critics any longer? who are critics? have you ever changed your mind recently because of a review? And time erodes all negative reviews......but now more than ever it is the "man on the street" who decides, in my view, even more than in Orson Welles' day......do you agree?

There are several more tracks at last.fm. I suppose I would consider all of these tracks as individual statements; I am working on a concept album, which is just in the beginning stages. I am also doing remixes, which I will be posting to myspace and youtube and here, in all likelihood.
I would love to meet the audience on this site more intimately.....
