Dave Thomas, an English musician of 25, is inspiring Youtube visitors worldwide with his own special take on contemporary instrumental music. Performing on both the Piano and the Accordion (and sometimes both together), his video covers of the soundtrack to 2001's French cult-hit "Amelié" have fetched to date over 8 million views on the site, sparking a fresh surge of young enthusiasts for today's newly composed contemporary instrumental music.
Taking inspiration from indie, punk, and dance all the way through to the classical and world music genres, Dave's original music has a subgenre all of its own - storytelling.
