Hello dear friends of Error and Discord, The last few months have been hectic at DiscError HQ. The Ulterior 15 single was released to great reception with the lads have had a full page photograph and article in NME's Radar section. An October UK tour with New York's A.R.E Weapons will be followed by two CD only releases in America and Japan. Both are EP's featuring the singles, remixes and extra material. There is also a very limited Portuguese CD only release by URA art collaborative with live tracks and an accompanied A3 magazine. Early November will see the release of DER004, Micron 63's "Death Is Colder Than Love / Anatomy of No Escape" on 2 track limited 7" vinyl and digital download. The second single (DER003) features 3 new tracks: 15, Fireships, The Death of Everything. They're busy having their minds blown by the support band. Ulterior - Horrors favourites, Ipso Facto labelmates, and the harshest noisemongers in London - open proceedings with a solid attack of splintering feedback. Their industrial electronics are a breath of fresh air in a music industry where the first sign of a synthesizer gets the glowsticks lit up faster than jackals around a corpse. The quartet look and sound fantastic: shrouded in smoke, lit from behind, and wrapped in their wall of noise, their leather jacket proto-grunge image makes it seem like The Jesus & Mary Chain have killed Suicide, stolen their souls and their gear, and jumped twenty years into the future to play for us tonight...

Saturday January 12, 2008 The Guardian Written by John Robinson Ipso Facto, London Like their spiritual cousins the Horrors, London-based Ipso Facto have their historical details down so perfectly they're not so much a band as they are a costume drama. A vision of Louise Brooks bob haircuts and primitive, but still labyrinthine guitar playing, the band's approach has extended their reach beyond garage rock to the point where they have become a kind of sepia-tinted Elastica. What's most impressive is that at this early stage - they released their debut single Harmonise in November - they appear to have the substance to back up their abundant style.
