There’s a storm on the horizon...

We just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has sent us messages over the past few weeks...we really appreciate it. We met some amazing people when we were out on tour and we look forward to seeing you all soon. Next up is our debut album. We're heading to New York for a couple of months to work with Rich Costey who has worked with Muse & Interpol. James and Rich will co-produce the album. If anyone's out and about in NYC let us know and we'll try and catch up for a pint. We've got loads of gigs coming up too...in fact pretty much the rest of the year so once confirmed we'll post. let the raining teardrops rain down on me tonight,i think making up, faking up stories is alright tick tock stop the clock,fiction is my thing my attitude is always i and me and mine oh i’m so clever until my paranoia kicks in then i’ll accuse her of doing all the worst things i do best its funny how me, fucking her about,has got me in this fucking mess liar liar pants on fire lies alibis lies more alibis from the truth, i admit i’m more than shy ain’t the the times we are living in everybody’s doing it so why cant i?
i tally up tonight’s strangers and stragglers that i’ve kissed training ground notches, perfectly executed notches and near misses its all about going out and getting pissed with eagle eyes and sincerity bottom on my list what’s the story morning glory? i feel so low and worthless
so this is where the outcome unfurls and the truth is being told a cloud has gathered over my head and now i know infidelity and my good friend ecstacy doesn’t work, it makes you worse i’m feeling so guilty about the things i said to my mum when i was ten years old i’m feeling so guilty about any old shit and how i think my missus is fucking every guy that she looks at this is it, the end was always coming and now its here
so this is the grande finale the crushendo of demise this is the happy ending where the bad guy goes down and dies this is the end with me on my knees and wondering why? cross my heart, hope to die its my own cheating heart that makes me cry

on a table in a puddle in a warehouse below pub was the venue for a three minute film we done last week in london.a song called daddys gone.like most of our other songs its pretty unsubtle.afterwards we went to our friend alans club nite.death disco.met up with some people we aint seen in a while.back to the hotel.things were hazy.i couldv swore i saw bob dylan sponsering poker.com on ch4.he looked really aggresive.went to sleep a day later.all the while john lennons "whatever gets you thru the night" was reverberating in my head.especially the bit "its alright...its alright".gives you comfort y`kno? like ashcroft said "i need to hear some sounds that recognize the pain in me"...cheers for the phonecall that morning alan.kinda needed that

saturday night,on the couch.cabin fever sitting on my left side and all sorts of shit thoughts sitting with me on my right side.watching t in the park highlights and lowlights.then carl from dirty pretty things phoned asking me up to t in park and the weekend begins.pity i missed some pals.the dykeenies,jack butler,attic lights.also missed regina spektor and primal scream 'cause tent was full which meant at that point having to frequent the slam tent watching felix the house cat.felix the fuckin doormat more like.my two highlights were carl's part that goes "fuck `em" on "i get along" and some random menace setting up decks with big fuck off speakers and playing a few hits like "grange hill" and "the littlest hobo".went straight from t in the park to hmv(unwashed and hungover),then to a bar for real drinks and mega hilarious stories with alan mcgee and dirty pretty things 'til 3 in the morning.ups and downs.ups and downs.dont know if thats just life, or just the daily dealings in a rock`n`roll band.weekend started with my cabin fever on my left side and shit thoughts on my right side.weekend ended with carl barat on my left side singing "the littlest hobo" tune to me and a big row of damn fine tasty cocktails on my right side.
