Saw Imelda and her band on Jools as well...just loved the sound, all 50s steamy vocals with a totally rocking rockabilly rhythm...totally fresh and exciting.

Imelda & Band. Thought you absolutely stole the show on Jools Holland this week! The standard of musicianship in the band really stood out. It was great to hear Darrel's guitar turned up high in the mix and wonderful to see Al showing everyone what world class Slap Bass is all about! Having watched you play small clubs for the past couple of years, it would be nice if the appearance on Jools' show was the break you deserve to really propel you into the big time! Just one thing though, if you do now start to get the success you deserve, don't forget the loyal fans who have supported you at the little venues, like the Robin 2 in Bilston!

When my friend and I went to see Jools Holland last night, we had no idea that we'de be introduced to such musical excelence!!!! The whole set was thoroughly enjoyed by all, your stage presence is breath-taking...and that of the bands!! Who were equally as brilliant!! Hope to see you up here again soon! x

Saw you last night at the 100 Club.. you were great - and when we spoke to you afterwards Imelda you were charming and so down to earth. My nephew and his girl friend will be winging their way back to America on Tuesday with your CD in their hand spreading the sound of Imelda.
Remember to check out Janey-Jane Does Imelda on youtube.. its vaguely amusing (well to us anyway) ;).
Looking forward to seeing you all soon again in London!
I am so glad Edgar Jones and the Jones' were on Mark Lamar that saturday, else we'd never have come across you...
