As the conclusion to a night of juvenile indie rock, Inspirition provided the perfect antidote with their craft of beautifully woven songs of soothing operatic magnitude. The moment Isabel took to the stage in her strikingly beautiful green evening dress, reminiscent of a night at the opera in the stylish thirties, the audience was spellbound, listening to her classically flawless voice, embued with a passion that must come from heartfelt experience. Tonight Isabel was accompanied by Gren Fraser only (usually they perform as a five-piece) but it proved to just the right measure for the intimate settings of the hope and anchor and together they created touching soundsculptures of emotional beauty. review by Klaus von Kirsche
