Theres some new tracks on the player, both were recorded at the villa we rented a few weeks ago. ones called "The Blacksmith" with Linda singing wonderfully as usual. I think its an old English folk song, its about a women falling in love with a blacksmith and the next thing she knows he gets married, funny lot these engineers. The other new song is also traditional, its called "Flora" this time it's the other way round, a man falls in love with a women and she finds herself another man, so the first geezer kills the second, ends up in court but still loves her. Mmmmmmm!

We just finished a month of recording in a beautiful old villa on the outskirts of Carvoeiro in Portugal. All the vocals are recorded and the rest can be completed at home, using the PC running Logic and loads of nice plugins. It will take some time to finish this project but we hope to have something out by June.

The Roland Gr20

Well, bloody wonderful, loads of lush Pad sounds, tracks great with the pick up put on my Lakewood acoustic (thought I might have a problem with that) this will make a diference to the Klonakilty live sound for sure, but must be subtle with it.

German tour ended

Well Im back in Portugal after the German tour, it was great fun and good to play for the folks there, it seams they missed us, nice! Here I am sitting in a hotel lounge with an Internet connection, yipee! Ive really missed the internet bit like part of me is missing, well its better than a television adiction thats for sure. Compared to Germany Portugal is quite warm, but its still only 16 degrees, I was expecting it to be a bit warmer than that but that's OK. I just had a coffee in the Hard Rock Cafe in Lisbon, a fantastic place with lots of famous peoples guitars hanging on the wall, an American car hanging from the roof, and loud rock music playing with video screens all over the place, but most importantly nice coffee. Ive got a 3 hour train journey tomorrow to get to the Algarve so I will try to finish my book "The God illusion" interesting book for an atheist nothing been done like it before, or? I saw snow on the Blauen (mountain) when I left Badenweiler in Germany, I think I got away just in time.
