You wait forever then all at once they all arrive! The BRITISH STEEL FESTIVAL3 was the catalyst for LYADRIVE to get our asses in gear! Not only were we playing live together for the 1st time in 9 years! We had not 1 but 2 new releases! 'Post Millennium Blues' as described elsewhere & 'The Sands Of Time (sessions 82/83)'.A VINYL LP! The latter collates our 4 Vinyl released tracks from 82/83 + 2 other until now unreleased studio tracks + 5 demo's, rescued from cassette tape oblivion & tarted up for your delectation! BRITISH STEEL FESTIVAL is the gig, 5 bands from the era named as NWOBHM! PRAYING MANTIS, WITCHFYNDE, ELIXIR, REDLINE & us LYADRIVE.
It's been a while since the last blog, 2 of the promised new tracks will be mixed tomorrow & we are discussing the possiblity of making an EP or Mini Album, hopefully available at the gig.
Fingers crossed for that, hope to see you @ the UNDERWORLD! ROCK!

Yep, we managed to gather assorted members of various line ups. Recorded all parts, with exception of vocals & possible extra lead work, before 'temporarily' running out of time & money.
3 tracks, 2 written back in 83/84 & 1 completely new number, basically from 3 guitar parts from Steve Jones (alaskan ex pat).

Something new on the horizon

Due to circumstances (i.e. me getting spliced), various strands of the band are getting back together in July, all being well, there could be some quality re recordings & maybe a new tune from LYADRIVE before the year is out! Watch this space!
