After much googling around, I have settled on indiestore as looking like the right place to be! Just a quick note now to explain what Okeydokeymusic is all about, cos it's not a band or an artist. In a nutshell, I write songs and find nice people to sing them. I have a home recording set-up - computer, mic, a few instruments and twiddly knobs, and do the best I can to record the songs, but I am not, and never will be a technical whizzo. therefore the recordings are not great - but as a great believer in things paying for themselves, if people like these songs and enough of them are bought, then I can fund a trip to a PROPER studio to get some experts to twiddle the knobs and create a really good demo to help raise the profile of the song and singer further. My plan is to help aspiring young singers find their niche in the music business, gain in confidence and build a repertoire of original songs they are comfortable singing. All of the work here is currently unpublished. 'Shine your light on me' has been entered in the American Idol Songwriting Competition, but as I am British, it will get binned - but you have to try!
