Hi everyone were new to the Indiestore and we'd like to tell you all about us Read on>>>> Biography SICKBOY have established themselves as one of the most exciting unsigned bands in Dublin at the moment. Consisting of twin brothers Colm & Brian Giles and Dan Doherty. They have forged a powerful but melodic sound that incorporates intense delayed guitar hooks an intelligent driving rhythm section and thoughtful yet sometimes cheeky lyrics and a live show that’s raw in your face and you won’t forget in a hurry. Think Gang of Four /Early U2/ The Stone Roses/ My Bloody Valentine and you might be getting closer to the sound these young men project. 2007 saw the band release their debut single “The A-Tune” produced by Marc Carolan (Muse’s live gem) It received serious airplay and positive reviews in the Capital and was featured on a TV advert for the six nations rugby on RTE!!! After the single launch the band lost a long time member and had to re-think the sound and the live approach. They spent much of the remainder of 2007 and early 2008 working on new material. They now have a 5 track EP “Taken Away In A Car” (produced by Marc Carolan ) ready for release on July 25th and an album on the way. The band are eager to prove a point that they are a band to be seen, heard, adored and remembered. The band will tour Ireland over the next 2 months then head to the UK to in September/October to do some shows before going back into the studio to finish their untitled debut album
