Wanna Be A Hero

Well this is the second song written and recorded in 2 days. Not sure what's the matter with me. Getting them all done before the epidemic of 'flu hits the nation I guess. Quite like this one. Ended up sounding like Fools Gold by the Roses which is abit bizarre as haven't really listened to them in about 5 years. The original inspiration was actually some bass heavy Beatles stuff like Old Brown Shoe (quality b-side, when people used to bother making b's) or Rain or even She Said, She Said. Any road, it obviously didn't come out like that, but pretty direct and abit dancey. Gets the foot moving. Probably no more now until 09. Far too much eating and drinking to be done Have fun.

SFASL is really just about being stuck in a rut, chasing the gravy train for more and more money, but really all we all want is a simple life. Simple really. Praise

New single 'Praise' has just been made available on the site. A quiet summer on the musical front, mainly due to holidays, getting pissed and enjoying the 2 days of sunshine we had. Praise was recorded in 3 three hour sessions.
Digitally mixed and recorded as normal, but restricted to only 8 tracks to keep it as brief and simple as possible, without too much of my 'jiggery-pokery'.
2 and a half minutes long so shouldn't bore people that much. Actually for today atleast I think it's fucking mint.

Just A Little Bit Happier

New song, 'Just A Little Bit Happier' is now available for download. Other songs recorded recently have slipped the standartds and have not been released, with JALBH topping anything recorded so far. A complicated 50 track song, taking only 10 hours to record, mix and master on Sunday 17ht June. It's one of the most interesting things I've done. It's 5 and a half minutes long so be patient. It's well worth the wait.
Some acoustic demo's will also be posted shortly.

It's been a few months since an update....mainly due to moving house and setting up the studio again! Recording is restarting with 'Too Much Is Never Enough' and what is likely to be the next single 'Life In The Afternoon' to be finished soon. Several live recordings will be released in June.

Recording has started on a new single - 'Too Much Is Never Enough'. A wall-of-sound cross over song, it will be the start of the releasing 12 songs in 12 months each one of a different style.
