Hello all
Google 'greg billingham' I am the slowmo marathon guy. This year I will Slowmodance the entire London marathon 2008, it will take 8 days and a bit to complete and will hurt like hell. I am new to music and needed a slowmo tune. With the help of my Guitar Teacher HOWARD BUXTON, we wrote and produced this tune. The lyrics are me and what I do, cheers Howard. Vocals are from Judy Green, she had just 30 minutes to learn the lyrics and tune then record. Guitars are from Howard Buxton. Wayne Edwards supplied keyboards, drums and the Tech stuff. It was all recorded and finished off in Waynes basement. In all the song was written, produced and recorded in a short perid of time. I managed to get a group of musicians to create something new in a short period of time. It was hectic at times and I want to thank them all very much for pulling it off. The song is for a Stressed out world to chill out to. It will also raise money for my selected charity, 'getkidsgoing.com', they supply specialist sport wheelchairs and support to young disabled people who want to take part in a wide range of sports.All the money I raise from the music will go to them and I need your support. Please download the song. If you like it, cherish it, if you don't like it buy it anyway. £0.99 is not a lot to ask for. At least when you donate I can give you something back, how many people in a marathon do that eh.. Spread the word around at work, on the internet anywhere. Please get people to download the song. This song is to raise money for charity, at only £0.99 it is not a lot to ask. The tune is slow to reflect my slowmodance in the London marathon. If you had to spend all you life in a wheelchair you would find life a bit slow as well. Give these young disabled children a chance to do something with their lives. Do you know the disabled athletes bring home more winner medals than the highly paid footballers, rugby and cricket stars ever do. They do not have much, they do not get much, but they give everything they can to win, so please buy the song and help them win
