After touring with leading acts like Regina Spektor, Billy Corgan, Snow Patrol and Modest Mouse, The Crimea whose sophomore album, while released online, screeches instrumental success is long overdue for a shot at the headlining act. The passionate vocals of front man Davey Macmanus, backed by the rest of the four man band, make for the perfect melodies tinged with an intergalactic beat.

The 48A Waiting Steps is the latest single off Crimea's Secrets Of a Witching Hour album which, in line with the rest of the album, is a free download. Crimea started their free album giveaway experiment last year and have continued to give their fans a chance to download it at no charge. They are even closing in on making the album a gold record in the UK. The power of free!

Watch the video for The 48A Waiting Steps now. Crimea front man Davey Macmanus takes you on a trip through London to dig up his guitar to only then detroy it. Hoorah!
