Hi… We are Animal Jack, a three-piece busking band playing our own mix of Ska, Skiffle, Rockabilly and Jump-Bluesy type stuff. Mostly true stories about ourselves or things around us, from stripping down Lambrettas in the kitchen to romantic encounters.... and even timeslips into the 1960s. We spent a lot of summers in an old VeeDub campervan busking our way around Europe playing on street corners and festivals... We have played in some amazing places - but we are just as happy to play in the local Laundrette or Fish n Chip shop. We have just finished recording our new 4 Track E.P. called ‘I can’t strip my Lambretta down in the kitchen ska blues’ (Yes, it is a true story!). We did a little bit of overdubz on it - but only stuff we could play ourselves - like extra vocals and sax and accordion harmonies...not forgetting Andy’s percussion with ‘Car Boot’ Skulls!
