Children of Artemis & The Dolmen
23/11/2008 18:07:44 By The Dolmen
The Dolmen are working in conjunction with the Children of Artemis, the UK’s leading pagan organisation. In order to promote a pagan presence within the UK this Yule Tide. With the help of the Pagan Nation it’s possible to do exactly that.
The Pagan Yule Song “Bringing the Outside In” was performed by The Dolmen for the first time at the Children of Artemis, on Nov 8th at the Witchfest International Croydon.
After receiving a multitude of votes and request it has now been chosen as this years Pagan Yuletide Song
With the united help, and let there be no mistake it could only be possible with the united help of the pagan people this song can hopefully achieve chart status
By everyone downloading the song the week commencing the 1st of December.
We believe the popularity of “Bringing the Outside In” is due to the happy go lucky atmosphere of the Yule experienced back in the early 70’s with the likes of Jethro Tull and many of those now known vintage bands.
The Dolmen has now paid tribute to this era by releasing a song that captures the essence and sensationalism of the day. But what is special about the whole song is that the words and energy are pagan displaying our fun loving reality as we express lovingly and peacefully as we walk our path.
On the final mix we are pleased to announce The Dolmen are joined by Damh the Bard the UK’s leading pagan singer song writer.
Lets have a pagan Yule.
Peace

Hangovers
23/11/2008 13:21:39 By Mike the drummer
An enjoyable Gig at the New Weymouth Venue known as the Somerset Hotel.
(Apparently it’s the original name and the new tenants are going to hold to tradition and keep it so, which is nice)
Well apart from banging out a list of favourites we played some of our new Album which was refreshing for us. And we sold out of Winter Solstice BUT not to worry we have a mass order arriving early this week to replenish stocks.
Glad to hear that Keri’s tracks are being enjoyed, as mentioned they will be online for a bit, although the tracks from the Taloch radio session will only be up for a short period. As mentioned we are using this sight to offer tracks that have not been previously released or on The Dolmen Albums, hence why such a Bizarre selection are appearing.
Our next Gig will be Seaton in the Devon area at The Grove, this will be the first time for a couple of years that band are in that area so if your down there please come along and say hello.
Other exciting news is that The Dolmen are going to be filming a one song Video and are at present working with their Producer in getting it sorted, my personal preference would be a video to “AHRYAH” what a fantastic track that is.

Anyway its now pretty paracetamol to ease my aching brow and sooth my hang over.

Taloch Solo's
21/11/2008 11:28:29 By Mike the Drummer
Hi everyone hope today finds you good.
Also its becoming more obvious that the two leading runners of our Yule Songs are
Winter Solstice sung by the lovely Keri and Bringing the outside In sung by Taloch- Er-Rex. So the big download will start 1st Dec onward for the song, which is most popular the announced the day before, and we shall blast that every where.
So feel welcome to download any of the others to your collection when ever.
Last night I was able to persuade Taloch to part with a few songs from an acoustic session he did. These songs have not been released before so you wont find them on any of The Dolmen albums.
They are going to be on here for a week or so, so take advantage and get them downloaded whilst they are on line. You will be the first to get them.
The Dolmen Grove will be celebrating its Yule on 13 Dec, tickets are available at £13 each and going quick from the website, links can also be found on the forum.
Blessings to all.
