New rare knock tracks FREE
24/09/2008 By sam
Hello knockers, knockettes, knockites and knockoffs.
How is life treating you all? We here over in the Knock shed are very aware it's been a while, and thought it was time we updated you on all things us-related.
There have been some very exciting developments happening recently. We can't tell you too much about it just yet but will let you know details as soon as we can over the next few months...
These same developments have meant that you will have noticed gigs have been few and far between. Well ok, there haven't actually been any gigs, and this will continue for a little while longer, but rest assured we're not going to be away forever.
As a big thank you for your patience and continued support we thought we'd share a few rarities with you to download for FREE (yes you read it right - completely FREE!) which will not only document what we've been up to for the first part of this year but we think are up there with everything else we've thrown out to the digital world previously. These are:
Lift Me Up (Baz Logik Remix) - A banging donk all over the live favourite, this is by far the best version yet.
Nightbus - this is a real treat for you and probably the rarest of recent Knock material. Some of you may recognise this from gigs. We tried desperately to get Mark Ronson to produce this track but he was unavailable so we just threw a load of trumpets and shit over the top anyway, which seemed to do the trick. Maybe we should try being 'superproducers'?
Little Smiles - We're all pretty proud of this one, written around Feb this year. Loads of our influences are in this epic and no, that is not the CD skipping at the end - that's how it's supposed to sound. You may have heard this one live as well.
Anyway, we hope you enjoy those tasty little treats and we will be back in touch as and when we can, but fasten your seatbelts because it's going to be brilliant. Not that listening to music normally involves a seatbelt of course. That would be health and safety gone mad.
Take care dudes, see you soon,
Jim, Sam, Toby and Baz.
